Variable Speed at 2.1 Amps — Where the 9150 Fits

At 2.1 amps, the 9150 draws less current than almost any other air scrubber in its class. Up to six units can run on a single 15-amp circuit while remaining below the 80% NEC continuous load threshold (12 amps). This matters on restoration jobs in residential construction where circuit capacity is limited and multiple 120V tools are running simultaneously. Variable speed from 100 CFM allows the operator to dial down airflow in very small containment spaces where 575 CFM would create excessive negative pressure or excessive filter loading.

8\" Flex Duct Required — Planning the Exhaust Path

The 9150 requires 8\" flex duct on the exhaust — it is not optional. Without proper ducting, the unit cannot function as a negative air machine, and the exhaust flow can recirculate HEPA-filtered air back through the intake side, defeating the filtration purpose. On residential mold remediation, ducting the 9150 through a window opening with 8\" flex to the exterior creates the required negative pressure containment. Flex duct is not included — order separately based on distance from the machine to the exterior opening.
