The Mercury glass “Tree-gallery” Keepsake Glass Ornaments Sets are artistically hand-crafted with added touches of gold and silver for a subtle glow. This Collection has been inspired by an old world-Eastern European family, who for almost 200 years had been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper- mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pear. As in the old days, they are made from 1.5 mm hand-blown Mercury Glass, silver powdered from the inside and then sandblasted from the outside. Combining colors and multi-layer painting techniques create a solid iridescent effect. We take pride in perfecting every piece by adding touches of gold, finishing them with a lovely satin ribbon, and presenting them in a three-piece silk-lined gift box. Hand-made in the USA.
