This vintage Turkish tribal wool kilim bursts with bold, geometric energy and rich, earthy tones. The central field is dominated by a stepped diamond medallion in deep indigo and olive green, set against a striking reddish-maroon background. Stylised motifs resembling tribal symbols and hourglass figures in ivory and teal punctuate the field, lending a rhythmic and symbolic depth. The kilim is framed by wide horizontal bands at the top and bottom, featuring multicoloured linear and comb-like motifs in ochre, terracotta, blue, and green shades. Handwoven in pure wool, this piece is a beautiful expression of Anatolian folk art, combining cultural heritage with graphic visual appeal.
